This espresso from Fazenda Freitas is like a chocolate cake with a hint of dried fruit. The flavor is reminiscent of orangettes, combined with a delicious nutty flavor, finished off with vanilla and a praliné chocolate body. A creamy and sweet coffee, with a juicy character.

Behind this coffee is the Fazenda Nunes family farm, founded more than 30 years ago by Osmar Pereira Nunes. Originally a cattle ranch, Osmar Jr. planted the first 10 hectares of coffee trees in 1984, and they have been growing ever since. Today, the third generation is working on the farm, led by grandson Gabriel, who, as a trained agronomist, combines tradition with a new approach. The family decided to abandon commercial cultivation and began to focus on quality, sustainability, and their relationship with the land and the surrounding area.
To ensure high quality and strong yields, the Nunes family replants approximately 10 to 15% of their trees each year. 

The coffee cherries are processed using the natural method – they are dried in thin layers in the sun for approximately 20 days and constantly turned. Thanks to this process , the beans retain a lot of sweetness, but also delicate fruity notes.
