Our Nightcap Decaf is not only incredibly tasty—with a balanced body, low acidity, and notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, and nougat—it’s also naturally decaffeinated using sugarcane, so it won’t keep you up all night.

About Sugarcane Decaffeination

Sugarcane decaf, also known as natural decaffeination, takes decaf coffee to the next level using a relatively new and innovative technique.

The process is as natural as possible and fairly simple. It uses a naturally occurring compound called ethyl acetate (EA), derived from sugarcane, to remove caffeine from the beans. The green coffee is gently moistened with water, and EA is circulated through the coffee. The EA binds to the caffeine and extracts it, while preserving most of the coffee’s original flavour compounds.
