Chemex.

The Chemex coffeemaker is an hourglass shaped vessel made of high quality, heat resistant glass - designed to make clear, pure, flavorful coffee without bitterness or sediment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

30g medium grind filter roast coffee
450g filtered water heated to 90-96°C
6 cup Chemex
Scale
Timer
Spoon

BREW TIME 

4:30 minutes

STEP 1

Fold filter paper and place in Chemex. The 3 fold side should be the side where you pour the water on.

STEP 2

Thoroughly rinse the paper filter with hot water. Don't forget to pour water out of Chemex, without removing filter paper.

STEP 3

Add 30g of freshly ground coffee, medium coarsed, to Chemex and shake to settle.

STEP 4

Place Chemex on scale and zero and start timer. Add 50g of water.

STEP 5

Allow to bloom, then gently stir.

STEP 6

Pouring slowly in circles, add 200g of water. Allow 30 seconds to brew. Finally, add the last 200g of water.

STEP 7

Pour your coffee in a cup!
