Fazenda Do Lobo, which actually means "Farm of the Wolf" got its name from the Lobo-Guara, a beautiful but endangered species of wolf in the region of Sul de Minas.
The farm is run by the Foresti family, Andrea, her husband and sons. The combination of young and older generations means new ideas are aligned with social, sustainable and environmental matters.
Producing high quality beans has therefore always been in the blood of this family, as well as sustainability and a healthy ecosystem. They invested for instance in a solar system to supply energy for the entire farm and their houses. The lots undergo an anaerobic fermentation process for 36 hours, before undergoing the drying phase.
