Located in the region of Oxapampa, atop an ancient cave where indigenous people once mined marble, Finca Los Nogales is named for the tropical walnut trees that shade much of the farm.
The region is a real microclimate and an altitude change of as little as 100 meters can result in completely different climates and ecologies.
Producers Nelio and Olga Cordova have a plantation of about 10 hectares and work together with the NGO 7 Elements that focuses on creating more even social, environmental and monetary profits.
